Re-defining Quality of Life: Living Fully with Illness, Disability and Aging

A community forum at the MACK Performing Arts Center will explore the complicated issues surrounding quality of life concerns when facing the effects of illness, disabilities and aging. Panelists will be Col. James W. Baker (ret.) (patient), Kim Baker (caregiver and retired RN), Dr. Michael Welther from the Battenkill Valley Health Center, and Rev. Kathleen Clark from the Federated Church of East Arlington. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the “Difficult Conversations Toolkit” and have the opportunity to ask questions of panelists. This program is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Center for Communication in Medicine’s Speak Sooner program.
